This session at the University of Arizona campus captured the Brett family. They are yet another amazing family I’ve been able to build relationship with through our daughters’ competitive dance team. All three girls, Courtney, Haley, and Brielle, are talented dancers. When I asked each of them for funny faces, I think their dance training came through because their facials were so fun and perfectly showed their personality! And of course I got to see their beautiful, genuine smiles as well. Stacey, Dusty and their two children, Bailey and Jack, fit right in in the dreamy desert of Tucson, Arizona. Stacey is the creative mind behind Hazelmoonfly boutique, so of course the styling of this session was just perfect. Look how the olives and creams play off the natural pallet of this desert location- such a great match! Additionally, the bond between these siblings and the love of their parents made for this gorgeous end product. Baby Maibauer was a tough little guy. He did not care to sleep at all, ha! which made a posed newborn session a bit more tricky. We gave him lots of time to kick around (to wear him out), lots of milk (poor, Momma!), and a nice warm studio. In the end he really loved being swaddled and we got some really great images of him! Even with brother who was just over a year old! Guys, I’ve got tricks for days… diaper changing, shows, marshmallows we can get even the least cooperative of toddlers with opinions to do what we want! I gasped when Momma texted me a picture of baby Zoey. She literally looks like a baby Snow White! Her milky skin and luscious dark brown hair are absolutely breathtaking. Momma chose to have a posed newborn session in my studio in Tucson, Arizona. Usually parents book their session when they are newly pregnant ensuring we have time to photograph their maternity session and I have room in my calendar for the newborn session! Because newborns are unpredictable I generally book them based on their due date then just ask that parents contact me letting me know baby was born so we can find a time that is suitable for their newborn session! |
