Sometimes kids show up and they maybe nervous or overwhelmed and end up not wanting to smile. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve and definitely try my hardest. But sometimes, kids just dont want to smile – and that is absolutely okay with me. Because usually it means that child is a more serious child by nature. I always strive to capture my clients and their children the way they are rather than the way we want them to be.
I loved the way Momma rolled with Riley not wanting to smile for her session. I tried all my tricks and she just want not cracking. Not even reverse psychology would work for this sweet girl. I looked back to Momma for help and she said, “That’s just kind of how she is, and we love that about her!” So, here she is the serious and sweet Riley.
